The next Creative Drinks networking event will explore the sustainable work of Brisbane designers.
September 3rd, 2009
It’s that time again. Brisbane designers and creatives are getting ready for the next monthly Creative Drinks, to be held on 17 September 2009.
Creative Drinks is much more than just a networking event, with everything from stage shows to exhibitions and information on offer – it’s about making professional and personal connections.
The September event will explore the theme of Sustainable Design by Brisbane Designers, exhibiting work by KT Doyle, Georgina Lewis, Bjorn Rust and others still to be confirmed. Urban Landscape Architects, Verge, will also give a presentation on their unique approach to community landscape designs.
The event will welcome music by Dirty Mex, the in-house DJ, and will be held at Design College Australia (DCA). In Fortitude Valley – the creative hub of Brisbane – the DCA campus is housed within an open, modern converted warehouse.
Work from DCA students will also be showcased and critiqued by industry members, extending the reach of the networking event to the next generation of designers.
