One of Audi’s biggest ever global investments
November 19th, 2007
Audi has announced plans for a $50 million ‘lighthouse’ development to be built at Victoria Park in Sydney.
Fronting onto South Dowling Street, Rosebery, the flagship development will consist of eight-levels and incorporate a retail showroom, customer facilities, an after-sales centre as well as Audi’s national Headquarters.
The site was purchased in late-2007 for almost $20 million, and is one of the most significant overseas investments ever made by Audi AG (Audi’s parent company).
Designed by Audi’s master architect, Johnson Pilton Walker, the site will also be used by Audi to host major brand events in Sydney and is planned for completion in early 2009.
