On Wednesday 4 August “Collective Conversations” was held at Vampt Vintage Design as part of Sydney Design 2010. An impressive and captivating line up of guest speakers included Sociology Professor Adrian Franklin of ABC’s The Collectors, Architect and Creative Director Alex Ritchie of E2 and Principal Curator Paul Donnelly of the Powerhouse Museum, each “telling their stories” of collecting while discussing and displaying their most beloved and coveted pieces of furniture and design.

Tuesday 27th July was Cosmic Night at the Artemide Showroom in Surry Hills. In celebration if the launch of the 'Cosmic' range by Ross Lovegrove, guests enjoyed nibbles and drinks with fellow members of Sydney's design and architecture industry.

On Wednesday 14 July the DIA launched Light + Shade, an exhibition of experimental works by designers of various disciplines. On Thursday 29 July Anibou partnered with Indesign to launch the latest range from designer Tomek Archer. PegLeg is a solid timber table top with legs, which are fitted without the need for tools, screws or glues.
