We are very proud to announce that Saturday Indesign 2020 is going ahead Saturday the 20th June, 2020!
March 12th, 2020
Across our 18 years of history Saturday Indesign has always been about the architecture and design industry coming together, it’s our community at its best, celebrating our best.
So, at what is a difficult time for our community, a time in which we need to band together and support one another, we are confirming that Saturday Indesign will continue to go ahead on Saturday the 20th June, 2020.
Following the announcement of the postponement of Salone del Mobile, we asked a range of stakeholders if changing the date of the event would be the best move going forward. The responses were overwhelming, supporting that we keep the date as planned, it’s given us confidence and assurance that attendance will not be impacted. Knowledge that our community wants Saturday Indesign to happen, to see the newest and latest products, learn and share knowledge and connect, network and be inspired.
This sentiment certainly rings true for Ambassador Richie Healy, who shares his experiences of past Saturday Indesign events. “You can learn so much from shared experiences. Being able to meet with peers, see suppliers and even your own colleagues in a new environment, we can all learn so much from each other,” he says.
The free-flowing format of Saturday Indesign, with multiple venues allows for the kind of conditions that can let the event shine, during a time when public gatherings, packing together in a cramped exhibition hall, would deter attendance.
Indesign CEO and Founder Raj Nandan stated “We see this as an opportunity to highlight June 20 as a time to band together and celebrate the best of what Australian creatives and suppliers have to share, all in a distinctly intimate showroom-based format. As always, Saturday Indesign is a platform for brands to create an original narrative of what is current, new and landing in our local market – let’s bring the festiveness of FuoriSalone to our doorstep.”
And with attendee registration opening on the 24th March, we urge exhibitors to confirm their booking for the 2020 event and ensure that they’re included in communications from the moment our registrations open. Now is the time to get involved!
“I would like to thank the exhibitors already committed for allowing us to work through this process, for anyone not yet committed, we encourage you to get onboard and help make this an unforgettable event.” Said Raj.
