From Cattelan Italia comes two new bookcases that honour the rich history of Italian design, and pay tribute to the premium materials of their composition.
Cattelan Italia is a world-renowned leading producer of Italian made furniture, specifically for living spaces and bedrooms. Since 1979, the company has been continuing the legacy of Italian design, honouring the materials and sincerity of design, and the result has been an ongoing collection of rich stylistic appeal blessing homes around the world. The two new bookcases available from Cattelan Italia continue this journey.
The Nautilus, designed by Brogliato Traverso, is a neat, sleek and obviously functional bookcase finished in titanium, bronze, graphite, or black embossed lacquered steel. The modular design of the bookcase means that each unit can be set up side by side or stacked atop one another.
The beauty of the Nautilus bookcase isn’t just in its aesthetics or function – the bookcase has been designed to function in any position of the room. It can rest against a wall as traditional cases do, or even serve as a room divider, breaking the living room into relaxation and dining spaces for example.
Available in either titanium or bronze embossed lacquered steel, the versatile Latitude bookcase takes its name from the fact that each unit of the case has ability to be set up side by side or stackable atop one another.
Coming from Ono Design, this customisable and beautiful bookcase has been designed to suit any contemporary aesthetic or space. Thanks to its modular nature, finish options, and coming with wall anchorage or optional ballast, you can rest assured the Latitude will suit your home no matter the size or style.
Cattelan Italia’s leadership in the table sector has long been undisputed, along with chair design, this has been its core business since 1979. Though these two new bookcases make a strong argument for a new sector to be seen as their jewel.
With both these two new bookcases, the difference is in the detail. Cattelan Italia has made a career out of paying a powerful attention to detail, creating objects that aren’t just functional, but beautiful down to the closest detail. The premium materials in the construction of the new bookcases, matched with the uniqueness of the finishes, make these cases for the reliability, creativity, and ongoing beauty of Italian design and craftsmanship.
