Workspace Commercial Furniture’s brand new table range Forza mixes sophistication with convenience in a modular design that is effortlessly integrated into any commercial space.

As we return to work, our expectations for the environment we work within have changed. Today’s workplaces are more than traditional offices, they are agile spaces that feature commute-worthy features and settings that foster culture, community and collaboration. Furniture that is customisable, functional and targeted for the users of the space is required more so than ever before.
Case in point, Workspace Commercial Furniture’s Forza is a brand new range of large, customisable tables to suit collaborative spaces and boardrooms. Solid, stable and stunning, Forza offers sizes up to 4200mm long and 1800mm wide, making it the largest boardroom table on the market with just four legs. Available in timber or steel legs, with over eighty configuration options, and a nearly unlimited selection of tops, Forza can fit into every corporate environment effortlessly.
Developed entirely in-house by Workspace’s design team in their South Australian manufacturing facility, Forza is stripped back to the bare essentials without comprising on size or stability. Many large boardroom tables have too many legs and components that cause clutter and interfere with the aesthetics of the space. Unlike these offerings, Forza’s modular design is so simple it can be transported flat-packed and installed in minutes.
With Forza the driving force was to create a large table with a modular frame, but also uncomplicate the engineering, manufacturing and assembly. The Workspace Commercial Furniture team had to ensure that the table could not only support a large four-metre table top, but also anything, large or small, that would be placed on top of it. Over a series of prototypes, each more successful than the last, the team arrived at their final iteration – a solid, stable and stunning table that can easily support a heavy top with shockingly few components.
Like Workspace Commercial Furniture’s Elan table, Forza features an aeroplane wing profile for the timber legs. Besides working beautifully, this element ties Elan and Forza together aesthetically. This continuous design language enables designers to create a seamless flow throughout a commercial space.
Forza’s pared-back design and focus on high-quality materials has additional benefits, including an attractive price point and ample durability for commercial use. It is also fully recyclable, and all its steel, aluminium and timber parts are easy to segregate for recycling or repurposing at the end of their life.
As leaders in Australian design and manufacturing since 1911, Workspace Commercial Furniture has provided project-based solutions for a variety of sectors including hospitality, education, commercial and healthcare. Now, with the Forza range, Workspace continues to prove that thoughtful design, over excess and complexity, is what is needed to meet the evolving needs of today’s commercial spaces.
