The new Singapore office, located at Suntec Tower Two, 9 Temasek Boulevard, will serve to expand upon Crown Group’s prominent and growing presence in Asia, Singapore, and the surrounding region.  In a market showing high demand for Australian property – as an investment or for children studying overseas – the office will provide access to potential Singaporean buyers and local brokers.  It will also enable Crown Group to establish valuable partnerships with relevant companies on a local level.

“The Grand Launch of Crown Group’s Singapore office is an exciting step for Crown Group,” said Iwan Sunito, CEO of Crown Group (pictured above).

“Since Crown Group was founded 18 years ago in Sydney we have proudly offered a quality product to the market and we are pleased to announce the opening of a new office here in Singapore.”

“The demand of buyers in the Asian market has grown significantly in the last six months,” Mr Sunito said.

“Furthermore, the Australian government is dedicated to engaging with overseas investors – primarily in Asia – a key component in our decision to expand into this chosen market.  For Singapore-based investors, Australia is geographically, politically, educationally and culturally attractive.”

To take helm of the Singapore office, Crown Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Chia as Country Director Singapore.  An experienced property professional, Chia has wealth of knowledge across both the property and finance industries.  Karen joined Crown Group as Relations Manager in 2011, working at the company’s head office in Sydney.

Prior to her role with Crown Group, Karen worked for a well-known international bank for more than three years, managing personal investment portfolios and advising clients. Born and raised in Singapore, Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the National University of Singapore.

The lucrative, high-end Asian buyers’ market – notably prominent in Singapore, alongside other major cities – continues to evolve and grow rapidly. Buying habits have shifted to well-designed, luxury apartments; wealthy, young people are looking for more than just a box, rather a thoughtful architecturally-designed, modern apartment and a high standard of facilities.

Crown Group’s commitment to creating a lifestyle within its properties caters seamlessly to these desires.  With its signature “SPACE” model – standing for substance, prestige, architecture, commercial and experience – Crown Group is dedicated to providing each aspect of the finest living experience to the highest-level in every project, a concept that has driven interest in international investors.

Today, Crown Group boasts a $3 billion portfolio of projects under development and in the pipeline and is currently developing and selling four major projects, Top Ryde City Living, a seven-tower development in Top Ryde, Viking by Crown, a 10-storey residential complex in Waterloo, V by Crown, a 27-storey residential tower in Parramatta and Skye by Crown a 20-storey development in North Sydney launched in June 2013. Crown Group launched Viva by Crown, the final stage of Top Ryde City Living in August, and will launch a development in Sydney’s CBD in 2014.

Crown Group opened its first Asian office in Indonesia in 2013.
