Queensland Design on Show: last call for entries- closing Friday!

qdos is the new name for the Queensland Design Awards, initiated and run by the Design Institure of Australia (DIA). Nominations for the 2008 awards, which include the prestigious ‘Smart State Designer of the Year’ award, are now opened.
Calling on leaders in the design field with a high level or commitment to the excellence in their design profession, the big award offers its winner not only serious ‘qdos’, but a $5,000 travel bursary.
Past winners include furniture designer Lasse Kinnunen (2006) and interior designer Kirsti Simpson (2007). The closing date for 2008 entries is Friday 22nd February at 4pm.
