The Tilt chair is a unique, charming and versatile piece of furniture created by Justin Gologorsky, an architect and furniture designer from New York.

In the rocking position, Tilt promotes flexibility, burns energy, increases blood flow and improves mental clarity. But flip it over, and it becomes a stable stool or table.
When Studio Dossier interacted with the product at the New York Trade Show, the company recognized Tilt’s playfulness, innovation and beautiful design. Designer Justin says, “I attribute my work’s synergy to my ability to personally prototype – to understand the process of making, and making it easy, gives the work a calmness.” This calmness can be felt in the carved nature of the work.
Over the last ten years, the workplace landscape has transformed into a more relaxed atmosphere, with a less hierarchical nature and a tendency to have more open and unstructured spaces to conduct business. The Tilt represents one of Studio Dossier’s key objectives: to source or design furniture that promotes creativity, collaboration and communication within this modern workplace environment.
The Tilt is manufactured in two substrates. The first is a polypropylene substrate that is durable, lightweight and is available in 6 colors. The second substrate is stylish plywood that changes the look and feel of the product and adds sophistication.
So why don’t you Rock Out on the Tilt at your next meeting.
