A refurbished showroom, new products and fun design challenges are part of the BID festivities this year with ECC.
April 19th, 2012
After their Brisbane showroom was partially destroyed during a recent flooding accident, ECC Lighting + Furniture are back bigger and better than ever.
At Brisbane Indesign they’ll be unveiling their new showroom, completely refurbished with all new lighting and furniture displays featuring some of the most sought-after pieces from Europe.
Visitors to the ECC showroom will get a sneak peek at the future of lighting with new products from iGuzzini, as well as a host of exciting new pieces straight from the Milan Furniture Fair.
Always embracing cutting edge technology and looking to the future of lighting, ECC is teaming up with a team of QUT design students for Up Late in Design.
The Future Fashionistas from QUT will take on the challenge of creating new pieces from the amazing product samples rescued from the ECC showroom after the flood. These inspired new designs will be on display from Thursday night through to Saturday night during Brisbane Indesign.
Brisbane Indesign will also see the final of ECC’s great USM challenge.
Visit the showroom on Saturday 26 May at 2pm and see the Form, Flexibility and Function teams, comprising some of Brisbane’s best and brightest architects and designers, battle it out and test their speed.
