Cutting edge kitchen design from the industry experts.

Smeg’s new cutting edge kitchen design concept Linear is a melding of intuitive controls and high performance.
A forerunner of the current trend where consumers custom-design their kitchens to suit individual culinary tastes and lifestyles, the Linear solution provides unlimited choices in an unprecedented style.
With an array of appliances, the new design concept features identical aesthetics and offers the versatility and performance of a professional kitchen while teaming frameless StopSolo ‘supersilver’ glass and stainless steel fascia’s with illuminated controls.
The Linear collection includes steam and multi-function, large capacity ovens, compact microwaves that double as grills, combination convection ovens, warming drawers and coffee machines.
Each can be wall-mounted or installed under benches with compact ovens and coffee-makers measuring only 450mm in height while warming drawers are 132mm. These dimensions ensure a perfect symmetry when combined with one of Smeg’s multi-function ovens.
Large capacity, multi-function ovens feature intuitive cooking with Smart Chef technology which takes the guess work out of achieving professional results with any dish.
The new Thermoseal system provides a perfectly sealed oven ensuring optimum heat distribution, maximum energy efficiency and the retention of natural juices in various meats and fish.
An absence of hot air vents to the outside means oven temperatures are maintained without additional energy being used to ‘top up’ temperatures.
Smeg has placed a significant emphasis on safety when designing the Linear ovens with the inclusion of features such as quadruple-glazed doors with forced air cooling, independent carcase cooling systems and ceramic insulation which have been designed to ensure the control panel, controls and door fascia remain safe to touch – even during the high temperature 500-degree pyrolytic cleaning.
The stylish and compact oven range provides optimum capacity, uses minimal space and yet, has the ability to cater for big family meals.
Cooktops also feature prominently in the Linear concept with customers having a choice of induction, gas or halogen varieties.
Each showcases the sleek, sophisticated aesthetics of the ‘in wall’ appliances while featuring the low profiles and tactile materials of satin stainless steel, silver glass and matte cast iron.
