Driven by the vision “To make the world a better place to sit!”, the company consistently offers innovative seating solutions for people at work.

Scandinavian Business Seating doesn’t simply manufacture chairs for the workplace – it truly cares about the people who use their products. It also cares about the environment. Each and every design is made to support the overall wellbeing of the user, and is sustainably produced.
The company owns the Scandinavian brands HÅG, RBM and RH, and at Hong Kong Indesign, visitors will get to experience many of the products for themselves.
Scandinavian Business Seating will be launching no less than three new products at the event.
HÅG Capisco Puls – White Edition
The iconic HÅG Capisco Puls designed by Peter Opsvik is now available in classic white with black accents.
Available for a limited time only, the HÅG Capisco Puls – White Edition features all the things we love about the chair: Capisco Pul’s distinctive body advocates an upright sitting posture, with the back and seat encouraging users to engage their core muscles while sitting and maintain a natural spine curvature.
In consideration of the human body’s need for constant motion – despite long working hours at the desk – HÅG iconic saddle seats can be adjusted thoroughly from height to depth, allowing the user to effortlessly shift from sitting to perching, or standing (when used in conjunction with a height-adjustable table).
The patented and design-protected chair is composed of white aluminium parts with 28 per cent recycled materials (post-consumer and post-industrial waste). It also received the GREENGUARD certification.
RBM Noor
RBM Noor is a collection of canteen and conference chairs designed to add vitality to working and social spaces. A result of a unique collaboration between the designers Form Us With Love, StokkeAustad, Susanne Grønlund/Grønlund Design and the Scandinavian Business Seating design team, the collection comprises a wide range of colourful chairs that can be easily combined for a multitude of purposes, rooms and environments.
A low carbon footprint also makes RBM Noor a sustainable choice. It is resource efficient, using low-impact materials such as recycled aluminium, polypropylene and partly recycled steel. New transparent powder paints replaces chrome as surface treatment. The chair uses no glue, is designed for easy disassembly and recycling, and meets the strictest of indoor climate requirements.
RBM Twisted Little Star
Aside from seating solutions, RBM also carries a range of innovative, high-quality tables in its product portfolio. The new Twisted Little Star designed by Ørjan Djønne and Karl Marius Sveen features a unique shape that enables several tables to be connected like a jigsaw puzzle to create larger units. When the table is not in use, chairs can slide all the way under the edge. Despite its compact size (125 x 125 cm), eight people can sit comfortably around the table. Twisted Little Star is suitable for use in the library, canteen or meeting room.
Scandinavian Business Seating is also the proud WorkLife sponsor of Design Conversations at Hong Kong Indesign. Don’t miss the insightful panel discussion on ‘Wellness in the Workplace’, to be held on Thursday, 19 November, 2.30pm – 3.30pm. Registration is free. Hurry, seats are going fast!
