Newly appointed Director at LWK & Partners, Philip Wong, has a body of experience that hits the right note in terms of addressing the issue of an ageing population – which is affecting many first-tier cities around the world.
Wong brings 18 years of professional experience, mainly in managing large-scale public and private healthcare projects in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. He also specialises in senior housing projects ranging from lifestyle, independent living to highly attentive care. Additionally, he has experience in other disciplines such as master planning for various mixed-use developments, education and sport-recreation projects in Australia.
He graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (Australia) with degrees in both Architecture and Built Environment respectively. He is a Registered Architect in Queensland and Hong Kong, and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects.
LWK has a 30-year history in Hong Kong, and in more recent times has focused on sector-based and geographic expansion. The company now has a staff of over 880 and studios spread across Greater China as well as one in Manila. The firm recently received its seventh BCI Asia ‘Top Ten’ Award for Hong Kong.
