Trent Jansen and Henry Wilson are soon to kick off the first in a series of events entitled “Dinner With…” at their new pop-up space in The Rocks.
October 17th, 2011
Trent Jansen and Henry Wilson are fusing 2 of their great passions – good food and good design – with a series of events at their pop-up shop and gallery in The Rocks.
Running throughout November and December, the “Dinner With…” series invites prominent Australian creatives to share their thoughts with guests over dinner and give an insight into their practice and approach to design.
It all kicks off on November 4 with a night of conversation on porosity and parasitic architecture with Richard Goodwin.
Richard is a prominent Sydney-based sculptor and architect, constantly exploring the point where the 2 disciplines meet. Richard will be speaking about the shortcomings of Modernist architecture, creating structures that intrude on Modernist spaces of pure functionalism, injecting elements of human engagement into these previously emotionless structures.
