MillerKnoll, the design powerhouse born from the iconic merger of Herman Miller and Knoll, expands its reach in Southeast Asia with two major new dealerships.

Elevating established partnerships and Herman Miller’s long-standing legacy in the region, MillerKnoll strengthens its presence in Southeast Asia with new dealerships, signalling a determined commitment to deliver its signature blend of innovation and timeless beauty to one of the world’s fastest-growing design hotspots.
The Jakarta connection
In Jakarta, long a vibrant hub of culture, architecture and design, Rifyo Design Quarter transitions from solely representing Herman Miller to becoming a leading purveyor of the full MillerKnoll design offering. Rifyo, an Indonesian company rooted in a multi-generational legacy of craftsmanship and quality, has already forged a strong bond with the global brand over the years. And now, its flagship Design Quarter showroom offers an immersive, light-filled environment for experiencing MillerKnoll’s plethora of renowned design brands.
“Herman Miller has long had a presence in Indonesia,” says Kartik Shethia, Managing Director, APMEA, for MillerKnoll. “Now that it’s part of MillerKnoll, we want to expand what we’re able to offer to this market, so that we can deliver a comprehensive selection of premium design pieces for home, office, hospitality spaces and more.”
As a result, MillerKnoll products spanning the entire dynamic collective – Knoll, Herman Miller, NaughtOne, Muuto, Geiger, Maharam, and Colebrook Bosson Saunders – now grace the airy, wood-accented spaces of Rifyo Design Quarter. Visitors will find themselves surrounded by iconic designs, from the ergonomic workplace essentials to the exquisitely crafted pieces for residential and hospitality interiors.
Rifyo’s values resonate deeply with those of MillerKnoll. Founded in 2012 on a bedrock of family tradition and the pursuit of elevated, functional beauty, Rifyo shares an unwavering commitment to purposeful, progressive and timeless design. “It’s our mission to set a new design standard in Indonesia,” Fify Manan, Rifyo Group CEO, states. “We have always been dedicated to bringing authentic, innovative, luxury furniture to the region, and this continues to be our focus. We believe design should be not only beautiful, but also useful, and that it should stand the test of time. That’s why this partnership with MillerKnoll feels so aligned. We’re very excited for this next phase of our relationship.”
MillerKnoll shares the excitement. “We are very happy to be partnering with Rifyo as we expand into such a promising market,” Kartik says. “The enthusiasm Fify and Robert bring to the table makes this even more exciting for us — as does their award-winning flagship Design Quarter. We’re very proud to be part of that project.”
A Singapore powerhouse
Marking the second momentous development in MillerKnoll’s amplification in the region, XTRA in Singapore makes history by becoming the first dedicated MillerKnoll showroom in Southeast Asia.
This pivotal partnership has its roots in the late 80s, when XTRA began as a modest furniture store striving to offer designs that transcend the ordinary. This ethos propelled the brand’s growth – and an expansion into a pair of heritage storefronts only a couple years later. Its evolution, from that boutique offering to a highly coveted regional design destination, illustrates the power of unwavering dedication to quality – one of many values that make XTRA and MillerKnoll such a natural fit.
By 1999, XTRA had partnered with Herman Miller, marking its entry into the commercial sector with quintessential workspace solutions like the Aeron and Embody chairs. And this year, on April the 30th, XTRA celebrated a stunning new chapter in this long-standing alliance by becoming an official MillerKnoll dealer. In gaining access to the entire suite of MillerKnoll brands, XTRA has become a one-stop shop for a diverse, meticulously curated selection of workplace solutions, textiles, hospitality designs, and pieces that masterfully blend the boundaries between work and home.
“Choon Hong, William, and their wonderful team have been a pillar of strength for our brand in the region and truly committed and passionate ambassadors of the brand,” Kartik enthuses. “We are proud of this association and also confident that they will continue to represent the MillerKnoll brand with the same passion and positivity.”
MillerKnoll’s commitment to Southeast Asia is mirrored in the trajectories of their partners. Both Rifyo and XTRA began with a passion for exceptional design, and their evolution to renowned ventures is a rendition of MillerKnoll’s own journey – from the craftsmanship-focused early days of both Herman Miller and Knoll to the groundbreaking global design collective they’ve now formed.
The undeniable alignment of values establishes these crucial dealerships as much more than just showrooms – they are important hubs where industry professionals and enthusiasts can connect with emblematic design objects made to elevate how we live, work, and play. By elevating these valuable partnerships and bringing the full suite of its brands to Southeast Asia, MillerKnoll affirms their commitment to leveraging the transformative power of design to build a better world – region by region.
