With a new store in Melbourne, Molmic has the space for its many ranges of furniture and a place to call home in Abbotsford.
Molmic has officially opened its new showroom in Abbotsford, Melbourne with a glittering launch last week. Right in the hub of design at 363 Johnston Street, the space perfectly showcases the latest collections from the Melbourne-based company and a place for architects and designers to meet clients and survey the offerings.

Founded by Molly and Michael McMahon in 1987, Molmic’s family-centric approach to business has enabled Molly’s four children to become integral to company operations, with each bringing their own expertise and passion to different facets of the business.
Anthony Paterra, General Manager of Molmic, shares his mother’s passion for furniture design. Referring to his mother, Paterra says, “Her bold decision to focus on producing high-quality, locally made furniture resonated deeply with the values of Australian craftsmanship and sustainability.”
From design, production and marketing to customer relations, the family collectively contributes to the brand’s success. As the company’s founders and the second-generation leaders are working to now steer the business into the future.
