Australia’s leaders in custom designed rugs, Designer Rugs, have launched a colourful retrospective collection of hand-tufted rugs by legendary designer, Annie Georgeson.
November 21st, 2008
Design has been an integral part of Annie Georgeson’s life for over 60 years. Her design studio has won almost all of the awards available for design excellence, and her designs can be found in airports, hotels, universities, embassies and Houses of Parliament all around the world.
This July, she sees the release of a new collection of hand-tufted rugs for Designer Rugs. Now in her 70’s, Annie has reinterpreted some of her original designs, as well as some exclusive new designs.
This beautiful collection is a clear demonstration of the timeless nature of Annie’s work, and illustrates her strong belief that “good design transcends fashion.”
All rugs in the collection are handmade from 100% New Zealand Wool and are Green Star rated.
The Annie Georgeson collection is available from July 2008 at all Designer Rugs showrooms.
