The sleek and delicate finishes of Biblioteque and Bureau Plat Desk evoke a sense of subtle luxury, while the geometric design and fastidious approach to detail ensure practicality.

The soft shades are employed not for their intrinsic colours but for their characteristics. “The most important thing about a room is that it offers some emotion – a space where you feel a room before you look at it,” says designer Stuart Rattle. “Nothing should stand out and the room should feel as though it wraps around you.”

Whether designs are boldly inspired or carefully nuanced, Stuart is supported by a stable of skilled artisans who transform his inspirations into reality.

His custom designed furniture range was recently launched in collaboration with Mortice & Tenon.
