Space Furniture presents Doyl, a new take on the padded leather chair.
September 20th, 2011
Simple, comfortable and refined, Doyl is Gabriele and Oscar Buratti’s reinterpretation of the traditional padded leather chair.
The classic proportions of the chair have been inverted, turning concave lines into convex, enhancing the chair’s softness and creating an interesting new shape. Padding adds extra comfort.
The designers have placed great importance on graphic markings. Continuous stitching on the fronts and backs of the chair correspond to the cutting lines and junctions of the leather.
The leather is folded, curved and turned inside out, but never cut.
Alternative technical materials offer different colour variations, for a range of bright hues.
Doyl is available through Space Furniture.
