Flexo from Signature Floors has become Australia’s first Eco-Specifier Green Tag GreenRate certified rubber flooring.
December 1st, 2011
We’ve always loved Flexo for its range of colours – including forest, jungle, apple and olive – and its range of textures – smooth, studded or textured.
Now there’s even more reason to love Flexo, as it recently achieved 100% of the points in the Green Star Materials Calculator, giving it the highest accreditation possible for a commercial carpet and flooring product and making it Australia’s first Eco-Specifier Green Tag Green Rate certified rubber flooring.
At a time when the demand for green buildings is at an all-time high, with specifiers seeking products that stand out for their sustainable qualities, EcoSpecifier Green Tag and Green Rate are a vital measure of products that have met rigorous standards required for green building and a safer environment.
Flexo contains up to 30% post-industrial recycled content and is produced under ISO 14001 certified conditions, where attention to material waste and energy efficiency are closely controlled.
A low VOC emission product, Flexo can gain specifiers an additional 2 points in indoor environment quality (Greenstar IEQ).
Flexo rubber tile comes with a 12 year warranty, making it a cost efficient and high performing addition to any Greenstar project.
