Hettich adds innovation to quality and functionality.
March 25th, 2010
Hettich is committed to innovation and developing new technologies to improve kitchen efficiency and aesthetics.
The popular InnoTech drawer system is an ideal addition to any kitchen and can now be customised with DesignSide to create a feature of drawer side panels which provide an alternative to more utilitarian-style railings.
Customers have a choice of clear panels for ease of viewing or frosted varieties catering for a contemporary appearance.
Whereas a railing has to date been necessary for creating closed pot-and-pan drawer sides, the new DesignSide now permits the use of glass, stone or other materials without the need to incorporate a railing.
The focus of the design surpasses purely functional aspects.
The end-to-end concept of the InnoTech system has been a key to the drive towards drawer styling that’s become increasingly effective and design-centred.
Using simplistic means such as stick-on décor profiles in chrome and stainless steel effect provides the capability for high-end design aesthetics.
The new DesignSide can be used for integrating on-trend materials that are both vital in contemporary furniture design and simultaneously provide a seamless, harmonious aesthetic.
To match this drawer design, the adapters of the new DesignSide are available in grey, charcoal and white.
If the kitchen is equipped with drawers featuring decorative profiles in chrome or stainless steel effect this design can also be continued through a pot-and-pan drawer level as the grey and white adaptors can be made to match chrome applications.
Similarly, charcoal-coloured adaptors co-ordinate with stainless steel applications.
