Established in Australia by Michael Fitzsimons, Instyle™ was created with a vision to build an internationally respected textile company. Instyle™ has earned the reputation for inspired, innovative and individual textiles designed for commercial offices, hospitality and healthcare interiors, casinos, public buildings, convention centres, education facilities, airlines, trains, marine and bus interiors. Instyle’s™ textiles are developed to the highest technical standards for use in high-wear situations, such as aviation and train interiors, or where a textile must meet a number of stringent standards across broad application bases such as hospitality and healthcare interiors. Instyle™ has showrooms in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, agents in ACT, SA, WA, Hong Kong, Denmark, and established subsidiaries Vivid Textiles NZ and Instyle Contract Textiles Inc USA.

Instyle™ offers a range of eco upholstery and screen textiles, including the benchmark sustainable LIFE (Low Impact For the Environment) Textiles® collection. Instyle™ was a finalist in the prestigious Banksia Awards 2006, Sustainable Category, awarded for “outstanding achievements in minimising the environmental footprint of a company”. Instyle™ has a full time Environmental Manager and Green Star Accredited Professional. Most Instyle™ manufacturers have established Environmental Management Systems (EMS), some of which are certified to ISO 14001.
