Unispace turned to Klaro Industrial Design VOL 4 collection to source key furniture pieces to complete carefully curated future-proofed workplace fit-out that seamlessly reflects culture and identity of a global brand.
December 11th, 2024
When Pandora, the renowned jewellery brand, set out to establish it’s new Sydney headquarters, the aim was clear: create a workspace that reflects its commitment to creativity, luxury and innovation. To achieve this vision Unispace were brought on board, who in turn collaborated with Sydney-based studio Klaro Industrial Design. As a result – the new workplace fit out combines form, function and flexibility, all perfectly tailored to the needs of their discerning client.
Key pieces from Klaro Industrial Design were selected as solutions for Pandora’s dynamic work culture – the TEND modular seating and COLUMN h/a sit-to-stand workstations, due to their ability to adapt to the needs of an ever-changing workplace while aligning with the brand’s refined aesthetic.
Customised Solutions
Klaro’s TEND modular seating system exemplifies this approach, providing a versatile solution for open-plan office spaces. Designed to support various work styles, TEND can be effortlessly reconfigured to suit collaborative zones, casual meeting areas, or quiet individual workspaces. Its contemporary design fits a modern office, while the originality of the visual language, gives a light and airy presence. The furniture sits lightly within the office’s bright spaces, complementing the natural light and panoramic views of the Sydney skyline.
The COLUMN h/a sit-to-stand workstations further demonstrate Klaro’s commitment to adaptable, future-proof solutions. Designed with simplicity and longevity in mind, these workstations combine visual elegance with practical features such as modularity and ease of refurbishment. They can evolve alongside the workplace, all while being “uncompromising to unsightly soft wiring.” The striking, strong columns make a statement, but most importantly give a practical solution to hiding soft wiring.
Pandora’s headquarters is a physical embodiment of the brand. Unispace, together with Klaro, worked to ensure every design element reflected Pandora’s luxurious image. The clean lines, minimalism and thoughtful use of materials in Klaro’s furniture echo Pandora’s attention to detail and commitment to quality.
For Klaro, partnerships like this underscore the importance of working closely with design experts to achieve beautifully resolved and integrated furniture into an overall design narrative.
Designing for the Future
The approach for Pandora’s HQ reflects a broader trend in workplace design: the need for flexibility, innovation and future-proofing. Today’s workspaces must adapt to evolving demands – supporting collaboration and individual focus while maintaining comfort and style.
For Klaro Industrial Design, this project reinforces the studio’s belief in the transformative power of great design. By creating furniture that balances practicality with elegance and building workplaces that not only function well but also inspire.
