Linear lighting manufacturer, KLIK Systems, has been supplying Australasia with high quality architectural, linear light fittings for more than 30 years.
June 9th, 2009
The wholly Australian-owned company has developed their linear product range to include over 50 distinct systems.
Designed in-house, each system accommodates a full range of light sources, offering specifiers a diversity of choice to suit project purpose, budget and aesthetics.
KLIK Systems’ Sales and Marketing Manager, Cliff Hadley, says the company custom-makes all its fixtures and fittings.
“All our 50+ catalogued systems can be made to any length, utilising near invisible joins often up to 5.5 metres apart,” Hadley says.
“We also incorporate bends, speakers, emergency systems, accommodation of sprinkler heads and airconditioning louvres.”
KLIK utilises a variety of optical systems within their high-performance luminaries assisting the lighting specifier with Greenstar and Section J requirements.
“We hold a lot of components in stock which allows us to produce large custom-made projects within a short lead time,” Hadley says.
Their brand new facility allows KLIK to quickly respond to client needs and work on multiple projects worldwide.
Some of their most recent work can be found in the Dubai Metro stations, VTV Technical College in Bangalore, Optus Head Office, Sydney, the Virgin Head Office in Brisbane, and Perth Law Courts.
“We have exported to New Zealand and Singapore for the past 15 years with current expansion to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Hong Kong and India,” says Hadley.
This has resulted in large projects, such as the Singapore’s Changi International T1 Arrivals Terminal.
KLIK’s diverse product range is divided into five system families based on shape and appearance. The ‘Classic Kliktube’ offers the timeless geometry of the ellipse, while the ‘Beam and Recessed’ series reflects the sleek symmetry of the straight line.
The ‘Stellar’ systems are born from the intersecting arc while the ‘Wave/Scallop’ range is inspired by simple aquatic forms.
Environmentally focussed, KLIK’s products utilise the latest lamp technologies, electronic control gear, recyclable aluminium housings and the ability to locate the fitting closer to the task thus minimising the number of luminaires and energy required.
