When discussing the new product, creative and managing director Jason Bird says that the entire acoustic pendant range has evolved as a response to the need for cost-effective, yet aesthetic design solutions.

“So many clients were specifying our lighting products and then additionally retro-fitting sound reducing elements into a space. It seemed a logical progression to integrate the two and develop a product that would utilise the space between a surface and ceiling, traditionally only used for lighting, to address noise,” says Bird.

Luxxbox acoustic lighting has become part of the everyday conversation in the design of major open-plan workspaces across the globe, including Amazon, Google, Bose and other large multi-nationals. Even small scale firms have recognised the benefits to be gained by using acoustic lighting in their open-plan spaces.
