The world’s first multi-posture, multi-mode task chair lets you ’Be’ yourself.
July 30th, 2010
With the evolution in the way we work, Formway have designed a chair that adapts to the changing dynamics of the workplace.
The Be Chair – now available at Zenith Interiors – is a unique office chair offering freedom of movement and support for the range of postures and tasks performed throughout the day.
Responding to the user’s lead, the Be Chair reacts to human behaviour with little need for adjustment.
The seat height, seat depth and recline can all be adjusted, while all other multidirectional movements require no adjustment at all.
The Dynamic suspension offers a smooth, effortless recline motion without the need for manual tension adjustment, while the seat movement is synchronized to keep your eye line virtually constant in different sitting positions.
Be chair is available now through Zenith nationally in a black frame and skin.
An option of a lumbar support is available along with arms, polished or nylon base and soft or hard castors.
The Be Chair has been awarded:
Australian Design Award, Architecture & Interior Products Category 2010
Gold Award, Furniture Category & Sustainable Product Best Awards 2009
Stringer Award, Product Category, Best Awards 2009
