Once a collection of unique furniture laying idle, The Wrong Shop is now a haven for those seeking eclectic art that bridges the worlds of art and design.

Established by Sebastian Wrong in 2011 with a view to making unique, eclectic artwork and objects accessible to a mainstream audience, The Wrong Shop is a bridge between the art and design world and the general public. 

Drawing on his fine art background and skills in curation, Wrong’s eye for the interesting is demonstrated within his shop’s vast range of digital prints, created by some of the world’s most respected contemporary designers and artists.

Living Edge has partnered with The Wrong Shop to marry two pioneers of authentic, original and sustainable design, in turn making the store’s collection accessible to the Australian public.

Ronan Bouroullec’s posters are an imaginative play on fluid, abstract forms that portray an intriguing sense of depth and dimension. Using a free-flowing technique that gives a three-dimensional quality to the artworks, Bouroullec’s intuitive and meditative artistic process evokes a feeling of continuity and rich layering, with a minimalist edge. 

Geometric in form and striking in nature, Nathalie Du Pasquier’s bold posters ‘Caldo’ and ‘Freddo’ feature the rich and energetic colour profiles and abstract forms that have become synonymous with the famed Memphis Group co-founder. Structural yet soft, the detailed brushstrokes visible throughout create a gentle sense of tactility in an otherwise rigid composition.
