A collaboration between author and photographer Katarina Stuebe and Utzon’s architect son, Jan Utzon, the book chronicles Utzon’s work on the opera house through photographs capturing the powerful iconic imagery of the building.
“Jørn Utzon has really mesmerised not only one nation but the whole world with his incredible spirit and his forward thinking design of the Sydney Opera House,” says Stuebe.
The international launch of the book, supported by Kinnarps Australia, will occur on Monday 18 May in the ‘Utzon Room’ of the Opera House, and will be opened by Susanne Shone – the Danish Ambassador in Australia.
