XTRA have exhibited with us every year since our beginnings as Saturday in Design in 2011. This year, as always, XTRA is a must-see, with their exclusive representation of Moroso and Italian fashion collaboration, Diesel Living by Moroso.
My Beautiful Backside from Moroso
XTRA will be the first in Asia to introduce Ross Lovegrove’s infinitely stackable Diatom chair for Moroso, fresh from the 2014 Milan Salone del Mobile. This exciting new piece was created using metal-pressing technology for cars, yet despite the complex production processes, the Diatom chair retains universal geometries. Its formal qualities are drawn from nature, and the effect is aesthetically uplifting.

In addition, don’t miss seeing the unification of fashion and design that is Diesel Living by Moroso, exclusively available through XTRA. The Diesel Living by Moroso collection cultivates two different ideas in contemporary design. The first is darker, inspired by the underground, with a more aggressive and enigmatic aesthetic. The second is lighter, inspired by nature, and its visual radiance uses soft, organic and welcoming shapes.
Longwave from Diesel Living by Moroso
The spirit of this new collection will be expressed also through a unique installation by Moroso’s creative team, in collaboration with XTRA, created especially for Singapore Indesign. It will respond to this year’s Project theme, “Future”.
This is just a small taste; there’ll be a lot more new launches at XTRA on the day of Singapore Indesign. See you there.
