We turn the spotlight on Carera Bathoom and three of its award-winning design offerings – ILBAGNOALESSI One, the Palomba Collection and Kartell by Laufen.
September 1st, 2014
Since its founding in Singapore in 2009, Carera Bathroom has grown to become a leading luxury bathroom solutions provider to the residential and commercial markets.
Of note in its showroom at Tai Seng Street are three highly distinctive bathroom offerings that have been thoughtfully designed to meet different user requirements. They include:
ILBAGNOALESSI One
ILBAGNOALESSI One (top image) is characterised by a timeless form and a hint of eccentricity. The collection, which has been honoured with a Design Awards “Gold” (2011) and Green Good Design award (2010), among others, exudes quiet sensuousness, with its elegant floor-standing washbasin taking centrestage as a keynote design element of the collection.
Palomba Collection
The Palomba Collection, which has received such awards as the Interior Innovation Award (2013) and iF Product Design Award (2013) draws its inspiration from nature, so it’s hardly surprising that it provides an endless array of creative possibilities. The versatile collection offers a wide selection of superior quality products that can be combined effortlessly and harmoniously in a multitude of ways.
Kartell by Laufen
Kartell by Laufen combines the iconic design of Kartell with the quality that Laufen is known for. The rigid geometry of the ceramic is tempered by the multi-coloured lightness of the transparent plastic elements.
But that’s not all. A revolution in ceramics, SaphirKeramik is used when a design requires very delicate, thin-walled shapes and tight radii, and gives the starting material unprecedented possibilities and scope in terms of material design.
SaphirKeramik is perceptibly sturdier and has greater flexural strength. It does not replace existing formulations; instead, it extends the range of material expressions possible.
Kartell by Laufen has received several awards, including Design Plus (2013) and Green Good Design (2013).
