W. Atelier celebrates the reopening of its Bukit Timah showroom with close to 100 industry friends and family, and special international guests.
November 30th, 2017
Following the opening of its flagship showroom on Henderson Road, W. Atelier’s Bukit Timah showroom has been revamped as House of W. Atelier, a gorgeous showroom designed to replicate the actual layout of a home.
The new showroom is the flagship for Danish furniture brand Fritz Hansen and German kitchen brand SieMatic. Complementing the two prestigious brands are furniture brands Zanotta and Lema, and lighting brands Lasvit, Lightyears and Santa & Cole.
“The opening of the House of W. Atelier reinforces our longstanding commitment to providing the best in premium home furnishings from around the world to our customers right here in Singapore. We want to immerse our customers in a luxury experience that can be theirs to own at home,” says Gani Atmadiredja, Managing Director of W. Atelier.
Joining Atmadiredja in welcoming some 100 industry friends and family on the opening night were Dario Reicherl (CEO Asia & Middle East, Republic of Fritz Hansen), Matthias Weiss (Export Sales Director, SieMatic) and Nina Maso, one of the founders of Spanish lighting brand Santa & Cole (look out for our Q&A with Maso on Indesignlive.sg soon).
Guests enjoyed wine and Asian-inspired canapés (think rawon burger and laksa in shot glasses) prepared onsite at the Siematic live kitchen as they roamed and appreciated the latest products from the brands. Taking the experiential quality of the showroom to the next level, W.Atelier also announced a partnership with My Turn To Host (MYTH), a culinary studio that will hold various workshops and activities for customers in the showroom.
The night concluded with a lucky draw that saw three lucky guests take home a Grand Prix chair (designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen), a Caravaggio table lamp (designed by Cecilie Manz for Lightyears) and a Basello coffee table (designed by Achille Castiglioni for Zanotta), respectively.
Until 30 December 2017, customers of both W.Atelier showrooms will enjoy up to 30 per cent discount on all loose furniture.
