Make a stop at JANUS et Cie during Singapore Indesign 2016 to preview new products and double your chances of winning a trip for two to Sydney, Australia.
September 30th, 2016
Founded in 1978, JANUS et Cie is a furniture company named after the Roman god, Janus, whose two faces look forward and backward – an apt symbol of the company’s deep respect for heritage and innovation.
Today, JANUS et Cie has over 16 flagship showrooms located in North America, Singapore, and Sydney, as well as offices and dealers worldwide. The company values curiosity, creativity and collaboration, building a strong reputation for itself as a global resource for contract, hospitality, and residential sectors.
Every item within its extensive catalogue of over 6,000 products is driven by design, quality and craftsmanship. Its accessories, performance textiles, indoor and outdoor furniture are widely celebrated by architects and designers, and juried competitions.
A case in point, its new Vino collection is characterised by a complex yet beautiful powder coated aluminum frame and handwoven JANUSfiber – born out of innovative engineering. The wide-open pattern of the weave prevents the structure from feeling too heavy, without compromising on stability and durability. The collection includes a lounge chair, occasional tables, a daybed, two- and three-seater sofas, and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
During Singapore Indesign 2016, event-goers can visit JANUS et Cie and be one of the first to experience the Vino collection, alongside other new collections, such as Duo, Kyoto and Savannah. Early birds arriving between 10am and 12pm will enjoy refreshing coconut water and energy bites.
Visitors to the showroom during the event will also double their chances of winning a designer vacation for two to Sydney, Australia, in celebration of JANUS et Cie’s new flagship showroom. The winner will spend four nights at the iconic Old Clare Hotel in heart of the city and enjoy a special designer lunch at the JANUS et Cie showroom in Rushcutters Bay.
