Verde Light has a brand new retail destination where you can experience sustainable lighting products and other amazing designs in ways like never before.
October 7th, 2020
Before sustainable design became part of the mainstream narrative in Singapore, local company Verde Light was already treading lightly on the environment with eco-friendly lighting products that were well-crafted objets d’art.
Verde Light carries a diverse range of lighting designs for both indoors and outdoors
‘Verde’ means ‘green’ in many languages, and this single-minded ethos has been the driving force of the company since its inception in 2010. Products made with recycled materials and a focus on materiality are part of its brand DNA. The company also specialises in a wide range of residential and commercial lighting products for both indoors and outdoors, and with its unique and customisable offerings, Verde Light has earned a reputation for quality and innovation, and is recognised today as one of Singapore’s quality lighting suppliers.
Gallery featuring an array of architectural lighting solutions
The company has recently moved from its previous Beach Road location to a conserved shophouse showroom on Lavender Street. The most remarkable feature in this new space is a Dark Room where the company’s in-house architectural luminaires are displayed. These include wall washers, spotlights with anti-glare reflectors, general downlights, miniature LE-GO design downlights, and more.
The Dark Room allows customers to test out products
The Dark Room simulates an actual living space to showcase the different lighting scenes and dimming functions of its products, and there’s even a smart lighting system that customers can test out with the use and ease of the mobile app and link to Google Home. The store’s advisors are also on hand to assist with technical queries, such as how to read the LUX and Lumens brightness levels of lighting products – so one can be assured of getting the right solution for one’s needs.
Verde Light cafe where guests can hang out and admire the lights
Spanning three units and wider than its previous store, the new showroom feels spacious, and is designed to make the whole shopping experience enjoyable. There’s even a cafe where customers can indulge in great food, all while appreciating the eco-friendly Touchable range of lights that illuminate this space.
Verde Light carries many great products that respond to the latest design and lifestyle trends. One such example is the innovative MAG-LUME magnetic lighting system, a highly flexible and modular solution that adapts easily to one’s shifting needs. This groundbreaking product offers multiple mounting options and a variety of light modules – all set within a slim design that fits spaces big and small.
Verde Light’s highly flexible MAG-LUME lighting system
That’s not all. The company brings in a range of other respected international lighting brands to suit different interiors and aesthetic preferences, including Ferroluce Retro Italy, Vistosi Italy and Panzeri Italy.
Verde Light is located at 161 Lavender Street #01-02/03/04 Singapore 338750. Opening hours: 10am – 9pm daily (including public holidays).
