Central Park 3 redefines the way we look at urban development and has set a high standard for eco-friendly, holistic living in India.
November 3rd, 2023
Central Park 3 is not to be confused with a regular township that primarily caters to the needs of a localised community. As India’s first and only global township located within easy access to urban hubs like Gurgaon and Sohna IT Park, the 200-acre township aims to create an inclusive and interconnected environment that fosters a sense of belonging for individuals from various cultural backgrounds and geographic locations.
The township is masterfully designed by GPM Architects & Planners with a focus on biodiversity and eco-conscious living. The layout integrates vast open green spaces, a golf course, and multiple parks, all connected by a green axis that ties the entire community together.
The residential high-rises are thoughtfully placed at the back of the plot with a green spine running in the centre of the blocks. Meanwhile the front of the plot is dedicated to premium plots and commercial spaces for visibility and accessibility. The presence of several water bodies, including a central green strip nallah, adds to the serene ambiance.
Central Park 3 offers a range of living options. From Lakeview apartments to independent floors and villas, each residential unit provides breathtaking views and embraces the concept of green living. The Room, a residential studio apartment tower, is an exceptional addition with its terrace garden, centralised air conditioning, and a fully equipped restaurant.
The central design philosophy behind this township revolves around three key principles: creating a green living oasis, producing a responsive design, and enhancing the quality of life for residents. This translates into a healthy environment with abundant natural and landscaped greenery, fostering a sense of well-being among residents.
Central Park 3 comes with all the modern amenities you could think of. It embodies green living with the integration of sewage treatment plants, power substations, and water storage facilities within lush green surroundings. With 35 per cent of the site covered in greenery, sustainable practices like rainwater harvesting, on-site water treatment plants, and solar panels for clean energy have been implemented. The extensive use of precast technology in construction, especially in ‘The Room’ and ten of the group housing residential towers, enhances the structures’ stability, durability, and integrity, taking the township closer to a Platinum IGBC rating.
The township is thoughtfully divided into zones to minimise internal traffic and enhance overall circulation. Sky-lit green avenues and pathways envelop the apartment blocks, creating an enticing ambiance and picturesque outdoor settings. Remarkably, 96 acres of the site are designed to be handicap-friendly and inclusive.
Sustainability is at the heart of Central Park 3’s design. Rainwater harvesting, on-site water treatment plants, and solar panels for clean energy production are just some of the eco-friendly measures that have been implemented. The extensive use of precast technology in construction, especially in ‘The Room’ and ten of the group housing residential towers, enhances the structures’ stability, durability, and integrity, taking the township closer to a Platinum IGBC rating.
Central Park 3 Township is a testament to how sustainable architecture can create a transformative living environment. By seamlessly integrating modern convenience with nature into homes, it has set a new standard for eco-friendly urban living in India.
