After six successful years of offering B2B contract furniture in Asia, Cult Singapore opens its first physical retail store along Club Street. With interiors designed by Paper Plane Architects, the new showroom is home to well-known Australian collections from nau, Tait and Coco Flip, plus Danish design houses such as &Tradition, Vipp, Gubi and HAY. The showroom reflects the brand’s commitment in further supporting the architecture and design community while serving as a place to engage residential clients in fitting out their dream homes with accessible design.
Smeg, one of the most photogenic kitchen appliances brand opens its flagship Singapore showroom at The Heart, Marina One. This marks the Italian brand’s first Southeast Asia experiential showroom, boasting a comprehensive collection of small and large appliances as well as an unmatched experience for home chefs, developers, architects and designers within 1,720 square feet. The dynamic space designed by Roy Teo features an impressive green living wall that underlines Smeg’s commitment to sustainability, a living kitchen for hands-on cooking workshops and a lounge for shoppers to take respite in.
MM Galleri opens its largest stone warehouse in Singapore at Benoi Crescent. Occupying 20,000 square feet of space, the cave-like warehouse projects an ethereal quality as light bounces of the stone walls, ceilings and floors. The curvy shaped interior demonstrates the flexible ability of MM Galleri’s patented bended marble technology. Almost every element in the warehouse is made from stone to showcase its unique and versatile quality as a design material, offering an immersive experience for visitors. In fact, the warehouse showcases more than 400 types of stones from over 60 countries through its product collection. There’s even a curated selection of furniture, lighting and bathroom products.
Fisher & Paykel bolsters its position within the luxury appliance segment with a new Singapore showroom situated just a stone’s throw from the picturesque Kallang Riverside Park. The 210-square-metre showroom provides end users, designers, architects and developers a bespoke space to experience the brand, design principles and appliance solutions firsthand. It features four distinct kitchen settings which provide modern design solutions for apartment living and many of Singapore’s premium homes. The Fisher & Paykel showroom is available to visit by appointment only.
Galerie 5 is the latest brainchild of Sol Luminaire, showcasing five resident brands and awe-inspiring artisans from all over the world, in addition to its house brands. Located at 50 Craig Road, the three-storey space is minimalist in design with predominantly white walls that serve as a blank canvas for Galerie 5’s product offerings. On display are luminaires from Makhno Studio and llll, as well as furniture and objects from Frederic Saulou, The Soucy Shop and Isac Elam Kaid.
