Building on a proud history of architectural collaborations, Smeg have crossed the divide between kitchen appliance and furniture with the sublime, luxurious Dolce Stil Novo collection.
Arriving this Spring, Dolce Stil Novo is an achievement of peak Italian design. The collaboration between Smeg and renowned Italian architect Guido Canali results in an appliance collection that seamlessly integrates passion and precision with ground-breaking technology.
Dolce Stil Novo translates to ‘Sweet New Style’ – a suitable name for an inspired and complex collection of advanced appliances. Featuring minimalist styling in black Eclipse glass with refined copper or stainless steel detailing, the collection is a kitchen masterpiece, suitable for the creation of your own culinary masterwork.
Not only has Smeg taken its craftsmanship to a new level, it has produced the most comprehensive range of appliances available. The Dolce Stil Novo collection includes:
The collection is full of innovations and world-first technological achievements including the revolutionary blade flame gas cooktop. Producing a continuous ring of vertical flame that guarantees maximum heat transfer with reduced heat dispersion, the blade flame increases efficiency by at least 20 per cent compared to standard burners.
Underpinning the beauty of the Dolce Stil Novo collection is its signature Eclipse black glass oven doors. The opaque black glass offers complete harmony with other appliances when not in use, and becomes clear when the oven is turned on.
Reinforcing its outstanding design credentials, Dolce Stil Novo, by Smeg, has already received three of the most influential international awards – Good Design® by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design; the iF Design Award; and the Red Dot Design Award.
